Is he in love with me but is strong not to show his feelings because he is afraid?

Everything started around 2 months ago.I knew the guy for more than a year.I never really thought anything could happen between us,as i was invloved.But i could see in his eyes, everytime he gazed into mine,that he really liked me. The eyes were pionate. So the gazing continued for half a year.I thought he was very handsome but didn't like him that way. he told friend that he is going crazy for me.everytime he sees me,he doesn't know what i do to him,but he is hypnotized by me.I didn't do anything,when hisfriend told me about it.After a while,broke up with my partner.And gave him a call.He was soooo happy.And when we met the first time, he told me he could not believe that i am with him.He kissed me piontely everytime.Caress me.would hint on us having the future.was really jealouse But one day i made him really upset him.After that even if i apologized,he was cold,never same.Now he left back to his country.I realize i am so much in love with him.shall Contact him?i'm afraid...
