Does this processor compatible with my motherboard?

hi, i am building a custom built computer from the shell and all the componets blah blah.. But i am looking at using a ASRock K10N78M AM3/AM2+/AM2 NVIDIA GeForce 8100 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard - Retail with a AMD Athlon II X3 425 2.7GHz Socket AM3 95W Triple-Core Processor - Retail now i know it will fit and work but my question is, is it a good and compatible. Will it work at all even and also i cant afford a more expensive motherboard so just tell me what i have to do. Highly appreciated thanks for reading.
