Looking for tips on removing alternator and starter on a 1994 Plymouth Voyager van. It is a 3.3 liter motor..?

and I am having a real hard time getting the alternator off. The bolt is not coming out therefore it won't come out. The starter looks very difficult to get out. Does anyone know any good tips for getting these both off. I do my own work and need to get these off so I can get the exchange rate on both of them. Thanks for any tips or help on this.
