So, my dad hooked up my off road lights today on my lifted 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 offroad edition.?

My problem is, is that when my dad byped my factory fog lights to hard wire the new KC off road lights to my bull bar, I got in my truck tonight to test them out in the field by my house and i have no dash lights at all. Cant see how much gas I got, cant see how fast I am going, can't see the temp, oil, NOTHING!! what happened? did he wire it wrong or could it be something as simple as a fuse?
