My bf has a bruise on his neck?

I pointed it out...after realizing that it looks like a small but visible hicky. it's purple in the middle with little red dots (broken blood vessels) around it... he said "it's a bruise" but couldn't remember where or when he got it...hmmmm wouldn't you THINK you'd remeber if you got hit hard enough on your neck to leave a bruise? and why the broken blood vessels? What do you think?...p.s.. we're pregnant and i've been so emotional lately i've been kinda keeping to myself. we talk everyday, but i've been bobbing in and out of depression...(hormones UGH) while he's been going out...and we're not really young 22 and 23 so...what do you think??
