Ford Puma, five years old, 45,000 miles. Developed a knocking sound at high revs and low speed. Any ideas?

i own a repair shop,and it sounds like it has rod knocking in it,but this shouldn't happen with that low of miles on it,is it possible you have lost some oil pressure on it, or have a blockage in the oiling system on it,if i were you id have it checked out real good ,you did say it was getting worse so id have it checked as soon as i could,,good luck,i hope this help,s.
