Does anyone remember the last scam Al Gore tried to pull on Americans?

I seem to remember him saying that the ozone layer was going to grow over North America and that we would all get cancer from the radiation. That was over 15 years ago. Guess what? We did nothing to stop it, and nothing happened to us. Why should we believe him now?
